How to Care for Your Premium Wig
Your wig is crafted from high-quality raw hair. Even if colored or styled, it remains a luxury piece. Treat it with care, and it will stay beautiful and last for years.
Daily Care
- Detangle gently. Always start from the ends and work your way up to the roots. Use a wide-tooth comb or a soft brush.
- Store your wig properly. Place it on a mannequin head or keep it in a silk or satin bag to maintain its shape and smoothness.
Washing & Conditioning
- Wash every 10–15 wears or when you feel product buildup.
- Use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Harsh products can dry out the hair, especially if it’s colored.
- Wash only with cool or lukewarm water. Hot water can damage the hair cuticles.
- Gently blot with a towel — do not rub.
- Let it air dry on a wig stand. Avoid high heat blow-drying.
Styling
- Heat styling tools are safe but should be used on low to medium heat.
- Always apply a heat protectant spray before styling.
- Minimize products with alcohol, as they can dry out the hair.
- For wavy or curly textures, refresh waves with a light mist of water and leave-in conditioner.
Color & Texture
- If your wig is colored, treat it like colored natural hair:
- Wash less frequently.
- Use extra moisturizing treatments.
- Avoid chlorinated pools and saltwater if possible.
